Fees & Rebates: Our consultation fees are lower than the recommended Australian Psychological Society Guidelines. Our out-of-pocket consultation fee is less than $120 with a valid Medicare rebate. Please contact our office for further inquiries. Medicare: Clients who are referred by their General Practitioner (GP) under the Better Access to Mental Care Programme (item number 2701) are entitled to claim a rebate from Medicare for a maximum of 10 sessions per year. Access to Allied Psychology Services (ATAPS): The ATAPS program provides 12 sessions per year, at no cost to eligible clients. This program is provided to clients who are at a financial disadvantage or at high risk. Clients should consult their GP to determine their eligibility. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS): Ascend Psychology Parramatta is not a registered NDIS provider. However, participants whose NDIS funding is self-managed and third-party (plan) managed can use their NDIS funding to cover payment of fees. Cancellation Fees: Please note a cancellation fee of $100 may be applied for cancellations that are made within less than 24 hours’ notice.
